About Lesson
The first question we can ask ourselves is: What measures can be implemented in the context of the environmental aspects of sustainable mobility?
There is a handout with basic terms: Handout.
An audio recording of the handout is available here.
In the text material you can study the main terms and their definition. The terms will be used in other study materials.
For example, read how decarbonisation is defined and think about how transport can be decarbonised?
Basic information about the definitions can also be found in the appendix in the form of an audio recording.
Watch the following video.
Think and try to answer the following questions:
- Identify the positive impacts of transport on human society.
- Identify the negative impacts of transport in terms of the different pillars of sustainability (economic, social, environmental, institutional).
- What is the basis for a clean and resilient transport system?
