Public space without exclusion
Public space without exclusion can understand in connection with the concept of universal design.
It consists of seven principles:
- Aquitableuse
- Flexibility in use –i.e. possibility to regulate table countertop
- Simple and intuitive – way of using easy to understand
- Perceptible information – perceptible irrespective of environmental conditions and user capabilities
- Tolerance for error –minimizes the dangers and negative consequences of accidental or unintentional user actions
- Low physical effort – can be used efficiently, comfortably and without tiring the user
- Size and space for approach and use – the space and parameters of the design solution allow it to be used independently of the user’s body parameters, posture and mobility
