Creating the concept for public spaces, there is need to take into consideration requirements of: sustainable development, users’ wellbeing, good city climate, attractivity and universal design.
In practice it means that the space should consist of elements, as:
-useful pedestrian paths and places for walking and spending time;
-attractive spatial utilities, like furniture for sitting, information infrastructure, leasure utilities for children and youths, utilities for passengers and cyclists;
-safety and order utilities (street lighting, litters, order and safety information);
-green as attraction, spatial furniture, composition and microclimate factor, water retention factor.
